- Sets itself up: run it without options and a short wizard asks how you want to mine.
- Protects your hardware: temperature limits per GPU, a shutdown temperature, and a watchdog that restarts a GPU when it fails. Every solution is checked before it is submitted.
- Tunes your GPUs: memory and core clocks, power limits and fans per GPU, and
--oc-tune, which finds the best settings for each one. - Shows what it does: a web dashboard of one rig or all of them, a JSON API and Prometheus metrics.
- Warns you when your pool finds most of the network’s blocks, which puts the network at risk.
- Runs on HiveOS and mmpOS with ready-made packages.
Prerequisites
- An NVIDIA GPU (driver 525 or newer) or an AMD GPU (AMD driver with OpenCL: Adrenalin on Windows, ROCm on Linux), with enough memory for the XHash DAG: about 1.7 GB in late 2026, growing slowly with each epoch.
- Windows 10 or newer, or Linux with glibc 2.28 or newer (Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 10, RHEL 8 and later). Everything else Hashwarp needs comes in the download.
- A Parallax address to receive rewards, or your own Parallax client to mine solo.
Step-by-step Guide
1
Download Hashwarp
Download the archive for your operating system from the Hashwarp releases and extract it. It holds the
hashwarp executable, a sample configuration (hashwarp.json.example) and start scripts. On HiveOS or mmpOS, use the ready-made package instead: see HiveOS & mmpOS.2
Start it
Run Replace
hashwarp without options. The first time, it asks whether you want to mine on a pool or solo, which pool, your address and a name for the rig, saves the answers in hashwarp.json and starts mining. Next time it starts with that configuration.Or give the options on the command line. On a pool:<POOL_HOST>:<PORT> with the pool’s address and <YOUR_ADDRESS> with your Parallax address. The worker name tells your rigs apart on the pool’s dashboard. See Mining on a Pool to choose a pool, or Solo Mining to mine on your own node.3
Check that it mines
Hashwarp prints the hashrate every 10 seconds and a line for each share the pool accepts:The line shows the current hashrate and its 1 and 15 minute averages, the effective hashrate (what the pool credits you), the accepted (
A) and rejected (R) shares, then the temperature, fan, power and efficiency. Press s for a table per GPU, or h for the other keys. Output & Logs explains every part.Next steps
